I'm not sure that we haven't featured this old Edwardian enamelled sign on a blog post before but if we did it was a long time ago and it bears another look. the message is such a stark statement and tells it exactly like it is or was.
Early Health and Safety I suppose.
There must be seven different fonts on there and, all-in-all, it's a lovely piece of work. Nowadays if it was posted on a wall, building or notice board it would be peppered with shot marks and a few bullet holes.
So much for Health and Safety then.
