An unusual formation

      We were sitting out in the back garden one evening last week watching the movement of the clouds when the lower level cloud formations began to open out revealing some really strange formations way, way up in the sky.
      Are they Lenticular clouds? We don't know but, as always, just as the visibility of the strange cloud formations began to increase the lower clouds began to close in and shut the view down. We can only assume that the clouds high in the sky were seen as rarer, sexier and more glamorous and because of that the lower cloud formations censored them.
