Fen gothic, almost

Late one evening last week and a huge squall, or perhaps a storm, blows through on on the fenland wind. Somewhere someone was really copping for a soaking, we listened for the thunder that we were convince would be there crashing around the heavens but it never happened. Disappointing really.
This view of the squall is a fine example of the weather as a spectator sport; dramatic skies, wind, rain and atmosphere. Absolutely marvellous, we love it.
What is needed is an architect designed, weather observing house, with uninterrupted views from first floor picture windows and an all round balcony.
Diary note to self, must do the lottery.
